a poem dedicated to jasmine, who's studying overseas now. i admire her for pursuing her ambition w/o fear. dun laugh at my attempts at writing poems, im trying my best :)
knew this lady some time back
in the southern province of china
ok i was just kidding there
perhaps it was fate
perhaps i was just lucky
for she's a true friend
a friend who stands by me
through the tempest and strong headwinds
this lady has a strong willpower
a steel-like ambition to be a doc
one that saw her through hours of work
work that was back breaking
one that saw her packing and leaving
off the to land of the kangeroooos
its a foreign land no kidding
im glad she's doing fine
that she's having fun
that she's adjusting and
climatising well
im glad she's pursuing her dream
her ambition her wish
and i look forward to the day
i can fall sick
and let her see me..for free(LOL)
meanwhile may this fine lady
study hard play hard
and take good care of herself
for there will be one fine day
when i can call her

beauty with brains.
