{*true love*}

its ironic. soup operas are fictional - they tend to depict scenes from everyday life, with that bit of melodrama, romance. yet it is in a soap opera, that i've come to realise that there is true love.

for you folks who watch channel 55, scv, you'd know what i mean. yes, the soap opera series that just ended tonight.

love is not about trophies. its not about showing off your love. its definitely not sex or lust. it's LOVE. its mutual understanding, trust and hope. LOVE is what makes you feel all warm and cuddly. LOVE gives you security.

and you do not find love. the cupid arrow finds its target randomly.

so couples, stay as one. share the love, embrace the love, cherish it. singles, continue being loved by your siblings, friends, teachers and parents. love is what makes the world go round, its the underlying theme in where painting created, every essay written, every baby made.

{*1 more week to....*}

ORD! yea right. that would be most ideal tho.

actually its a week away to taiwan :D :D so so excited.

i'm done with 2 dan brown books - digital fortress and deception point, both of which i was deeply engrossed in. e da vinci code n angels & demons promise no less. im delighted :D

speaking of which, there would be like hordes of pple in town this weekend..why so? well its the end of the Os and As for most people. hahaha so if you're desperate to catch eye candy, go town.

was/am talking to jasmine and she mentioned that her doc installed a cctv. whatever happened to privacy? to trust? to mutal agreement? sure enough, privacy is often compromised in today's society, where one can easily install a cam secretly. often, that of citizens feel violated by the numerous cams loitering around them, a situation more visible in the states. Big Brother they call it, if im not wrong.

however, in jasmine's case, is it really necessary? i bet my pants that it isnt. and im saying this in clairvoyant confidence, that i wont lose my pants any time soon.

back to preparations for my taiwan trip! immmm filled with anticipation! imagine the flight, the fresh air, the pple, culture, scenery! haaa let me bask in this state of elation.

i want a nose-job. hahha! it has been of my mind for quite long already...but after checking out a webby about rhinoplasty, i got freaked out.

check this out, verbatim: "For 10 to 14 days after surgery your face, nose, and eyes will be bruised, swollen, and discolored."

like OMG! aside from that, there are the risks associated with general anathestic, bleeding, infections etc. and not to forget BLOTCHED(is it spelled this way? my spelling has gone to the dogs after entering army)jobs!

so i dunno. i will prob wait till i get enough financial assets before even considering the abovementioned. nose-jobs anyone? hahha!

{*magarita & vests*}

peragon shopping mall has a lot of clothes shops. yet these are the more posh ones. they market goods that are well above the hundred dollar mark.

hahha so naturally poor, broken me did not buy the vest i wanted from those shops. ok ok, so im not the one paying for the vest, but hey im trying to save money :D

anyway my mum and i walked around for a while before heading down to spaghexxx(i cant remember the exact name of the restaurant). my sis joined us after a few mins. anyhow, man did i have a feast. i ordered clayfish + tenderolin spaghetti! as well as a "blue babe" magarita. naturally being the lousy drinker i am, i felt light-headed but hey i was sober enough to walk around ok!

in the end, we ended up at wisma and i bought 2 vests from G2000! good deal man, 60++ bucks each, but they looked good on me :D

ok, i've a splitting headache..from the alcohol probably. good night to the hot babes reading this entry. YES ITS YOU FOLKS! :D

and this is like the first time im just chilling out w/o worrying about the time. reading 8 days and listening to bb king is jus so relaxing.

gonna have a long weekend - i applied for leave on monday to shop for clothes. its a necessity ok!

{*life is a box of chocolates?*}

the wise men(& women, i supposed)of ancient times said that life is a box of chocolates. bitter-sweet. yet for the sake of argument(im prone to having arguments just for the sake of them when im sleepy), i said beg to differ.

you see chocolates do induce a rush in their consumers. they leave a sweet after-taste. yet what happens after they are consumed? they are digested, assimilated and eventually dispatched to various parts of the body.

to say life is similar to chocolates is like saying life is insignificiant, weak and unwanted (since the production of adipose tissues leading from the consumption of chocolates is negative).

there i would say life is like a gold bar. its value never changes. strong and resilient, it never yearns to external forces easily. its resistent and even if its in its "lower" form(liquid), it would become solid once again. take note of the pun.

so yes, life is like a gold bar.

psst: choco lovers out there, dun hate me :D im just ranting on cos i din have enough sleep the past few nights lol. besides, i love chocolates myself and to a certain extent, life IS indeed like a box of chocolates. tasty, desirable anda welcome treat.

omg, my parents are paranoid. you see, we're going overseas soon and she's been at my neck, nagging at me to get a flu jab?

and i've been protesting for the past few hours...i vain. its not that im afraid of small metal probes being stuck inside me. im just confident of my white blood cells.
hahhah im talking crap.

anyway im going smu very soon, meeting a campmate there to see some exhibition. im exhausted man. slept pretty late, but i had a very fun time chatting with this amazing gurl called seokie. but hold and behold, must be wary of her :D

started on dan brown's digital fortress last night. its extremely addictive i tell you. i added up sleeping at around midnight, which mean dark, panda-like eyebags for the next few days. blah friday pls come now!

im glad a certain friend of mine is better. time will heal all wounds and you'll eventually forget the sad event that happened to you. heee you may even find what you always wanted in your wildest dream :D
