i were more carefree. yes that's right. living in this consistently hectic society, where you have to continuously move forward or risk being obsolete, there's little or no room for true enjoyment.
-bored of work? spend the weekends hiking. yeah right - you can try hiking from the bottom of your flat to the top haha.
-fatigued from your normal routine? go to other states and enjoy the scenery, culture and food there. yeah right - singapore is only too small, perhaps you can go to geylang for some food.
-sick of mugging all the time? take time off, roam around the country and do things you like. yeah right - where do you the money?
so yeah its pretty sad living in such a small country.
of course, in the same breath, you can have some fun. go to orchard with good friends, cherish the food, company and jokes. go out with your girlfriend OR boyfriend and just make out till tmr lol. there are too many possiblities.
or perhaps its just me. my world is just too small, too limited. i need exposure to the bigger picture. i need to learn to let go of the things make tt make up my comfort zone and venture to the unknown. pls let me smile more. pls.
