alright! just got back from a birthday party. yishan's birthday party to be exactly. it was a pretty casual but equally well-arranged affair. meeting the sc4ers (well most of them at least) was great, considering i have not met most of them for 1 year +. hahha i promise to go for e outings more often ok?

im happy for yishan. a bubbly, optimistic and lively gurl, she's the life of every event, party. may she have a fantastic year ahead. happy birthday dearie.

oh and many thanks to the other gabriel toh :D - for the ride home! u're a great guy, look forward to bumping into you on the smu campus haha.

sigh ive realised that my posts have of late, been sporadic and brief. my muses, thoughts are mostly stored up there *points at brain* so yeah, i seldom air them on a public domain.

wad is wrong with my tag-board? the previous tag-board provider just...dissolved into thin air while the current one isnt reliable. it displayed an error msg when i chanced upon it last night. oh well.

{*infuriating*}

ok my comp has crashed 3 times while trying to blog with netscape and its pissing me off. thank god for good ole internet explorer.

today was a whirl-wind of activities - basically i was working my butt off trying to clear the backlog of work which was undone in my absence. not that im trying to brag that i have a lot of responsiblities, but well it will be good to have an understudy now that im gonna leave the army soon. speaking of which, i would be ORD-ing next month if my enlistment were not delayed. 3 letters - ZZZ!

oh yeah, has anyone noticed a spike in spam?? i logged onto my email only to discover 30 spam mails in my inbox on top of the 915 already classified under spam. incredible isnt it? i mean, im not gonna fall for the "some poor chap died leaving a huge fortune for me to collect" fraud or the "eat this, eat that and your manhood will be a anaconda instead of an earthworm" advertisements.

alright, im gonna sleep soon. had so little sleep last night..plus the workload today. hey peeps, how come i seldom see any of you real life ah? hahha singapore's not tt small..so do bump into me more often ok? esp the babes haha!

that's wad i shud say to the pea-brains who caused the haze. i mean that slash and burn cultivation is a form of living for some pple living in the islands south of singapore, but does it have to be of a large scale?

haze is bad, detrimental to the health of pple. yet it is necessary - it is only when something is MANIFESTABLE that pple are galvanised into doing something. it is really. i recall watching a documentary on aircrashes and their causes. it is only when a huge, gigantic accident happens, involving hundreds of lives, that the aviation industry actually sit up in their poshy chairs and do SOMETHING.

in the same way it is with the haze. frankly i have no idea wad we can do over here, in singapore. short of a petition to denounce indonesia, there's only baby steps we can take to avoiding such "occurences" from happening. but they are steps nonetheless.

meanwhile for the lazy pple like me, lets hope that the situation improves. i hate waking up in the morning only to see a cloud of fleecy grey surrounding me.

just had an op today...haha everything's swollen but im recovering fast :D so no worries there.

anyway here's wad i tink..true love is really so abstract, to intangible that i sort of do not believe it. sad right? i mean, i've been through tonnes of failed relationships (thank god none ended up in marriages) and it has dawned on me that, well maybe it isnt for everyone?

but hey serina, you may be right :)

kitty, yeah lo! my apologises for not organising any outings, been too busy and all. but soon! december and e holidays are coming, so there shouldnt be a problem..must get mr wei ze to come along hhaa.

oki im gonna rest well. mummy says i have to sleep sufficiently.
