{*the rope*}

yeah i got defeated by the skipping rope. nv thot it would be so tough..give it a try pple!

i was having my dinner, pig intestines w brown rice, when my glance swept across the receipt. hold and behold. this was what i saw.

1 KIDENY soup
2 Rice

i laughed to myself. was the soup made up of KIDs whom DENY? alright so that's lame, but some signs are just so hilarious. rather intentional or not, it certainly brightens our day. i gotta say though, that fcuk is a rather precarious name for a company. nonetheless, its effective advertisement.

2006 is drawing to a close. yeah i know i know, its cliche to say that well hey lets look back at the past year and see what has been accomplished and what has not. but this year, was spent in the army. the entire year. the experience has taught me a lot, and through this all, i've become more knowledgeable, more sensitive towards other feelings..and perhaps the most important point, to survive in the workplace. i've come to realise that hey, i tend to use the soft approach when working - building up amiable relationships w pple regardless of their ranks, helping them out when possible and most of the time, im grateful for the help they have given me.

alright, im gonna stop here. congratulations if you have read my words till now. BOOO if you just skipped to the conclusion. just kidding!

{*my trip*}

figured describing the entire trip would be a long-drawn affair, so here are short phases narrating it.

1st day
tired
cool weather
took bus to hotel
hotel was at jordan mtr station
walked like crazy
window shopping
causeway bay
mong kok
had lunch at double star
fatigued, slept well
missed flo

2nd & 3rd day
victoria peak
repulse bay
breath-taking scenery
transit to shenzhen via train
slept like a log
took taxi to hotel
spacious
lousy dinner
walked around
saw lots of youths
bought shirt
bought sunglasses
saw a show w horses
missed flo

4th & 5th day
macau via ferry
bumped up to executive by female receptionist
walked around
saw ulynn, sands, observatory towel
had a GOOD meal
ox tongue lol
nice bread/sandwich served
loved the st andrews remains
loved the architecture
bought lots of egg tarts, the best
transit back to hk via ferry
tired but loved the company
italian couple :D
had huge dinner, goose meat
missed flo

last day
window shopping
last minute shopping
saw someone for flo
hand carried it to sg
went to avenue of stars
loved the scenery, the wind
was hot, very bright
thank god for shades
saw someone who looked like flo
missed her even more
more wanton soup, wantons
dragged weary self back to sg
reached home at 1, 2 am plus

:) i loved the trip. there were numerous hiccups. had to carry heavy luggage over long distances. but the weather, scenery, FOOD was great. and i saw this hk$5000 jacket..fitted me well but too exp. will get it another time. gurls, go hk, get their boots!

flo, was a long period away from u. the last 2 weeks will be even worse :( but as long as you're safe and happy, that's what matters. need to meet you before you leave :) good luck for the presentation and test. MOOooO! <3.
