so yeah i got 1 day off. ord off. congratulations. so much work done, so much pain suffered and only 1 day. its not that i mind being short-changed. but the issue centers more on a show of appreciation isnt it?

im sure at one point of your life or the other, you have persevered through a tedious, seemingly impossible task. yet you put in all your best. you make sure things are meticulously done. and in the hope of what? to at least know that your efforts are being appreciated. a pat in the back. time off. privileges given.

screw all the bullshit in this world.

{*so there it is...*}

the last 5 days of my life in army. im not gonna reflect on how i have changed since enlistment, but it has been hella ride!

there are 2 kinds of friends in this world. the hypocritical ones that backstab you, and the ones that are genuine, sincere. i have since learnt how to differentiate between the 2.

im especially thankful for the friends i have made in army. from my instructors in bmt to those in oeti. from the admin in oeti to my superiors in my current unit. and not to forget all my wonder campmates, bunkmates and soulmates. i will not forget any one of you, ever.

i never thot it would be this sad to say good-bye to army. i never thot i would actually tear up inside. i never thot it would be this hard. but yeah i have to go and farewell pple. see you all in colours of the rainbow, not green haha.

love lots.

on an even sadder note, i do not think something will work out. another lonely valentine.

{*army and bad spelling*}

ever since i've been conscripted into the army, my spelling has been on a steady decline. i dunno, is it bcos i seldom, if at all, use my brain in the army? or that im accustomed to the atrocious standard of english in the army?

im in no way, saying that my level of english is high or anything..im only average. so yeah, its sad. hope the situation willl improve, with my ORD looming nearer and nearer.

my bday's coming soon too. no, this is not a post intended to remind you pple of my bday.. im just airing my thoughts. anyhow, back to my bday, im still in the process of brainstorming what to do! chalet? overseas? just a good meal?

what can i do?

oooh yeah this should be good. may go overseas in april..japan? us? aus? oh well will see what conspires. alright gotta go.

yolanda, if you're reading this, you made a good decision, stick by it and be happy. take your worries and chuck it away.
