{*chili crabs and life*}

today i did not eat the pincers of the chili crabs which were part of my sis's birthday dinner, on purpose.

i did not want things to be easy, to take things for granted. often, my parents and sis would peel the flesh for me, or give me the pincers which are often the largest, meatiest part of the crabs. not consuming the pincers is my way of giving back : )

its often strange how one behaves with age.

PS: on a totally unrelated note, i must say that there are all sorts of pple in this world. including peculiar ones. tsk tsk.

{*rationalization*}

it often gets complicated when one attempts to rationalize the thought processes (or judgments in this case) of others.

the need for presence in the context of single- and multiple- acts constituting the criminal offence(s) is such an example. i would swing towards michael hor's observations that presence is NOT a pre-condition but evidence of participation.

in any case, if only a hard and fast rule would govern the ruling of all cases. then, there wouldn't be elaborate essays that attempt to capture the gist of the various seemingly contradictory cases. however, this would remove variation and hence the element of fun, wouldnt it?

{*climbing!*}

hmm from the past few weeks of climbing relatively mild hills in singapore, i realised im not very good at it.

i'm either unfit or not used to the bike or the bike geometry isnt suitable for climbing.

i'm more inclined towards the former as the common saying goes "its not the bicycle. its the rider". more than ever, im disposed to keep training harder, to perhaps purchase a stationary trainer.

{*ralph lauren polo explorer*}

ladies and gentlemen, i present to you the ralph lauren polo explorer cologne, aftershave and hair & body gel.

my sis got this when she came back from vietnam and since then, i've fallen in love with the smell! the only disappointment is that the cologne is a toilette and not a perfume, but hey its good enough for me : )

do get this for your male boyfriends/male friends/dads/brothers! they will love it. Hmm ok on second thots DON'T! i dont want the entire male population in singapore smelling as goooddd as me!

HAHA.

ok on a more serious note, smux camp bbq and law camp group meeting this sunday. mtg w dawn this coming tues, and delph & steph after that. friday's with kelly. saturday-sun is the mock smux camp.

see, i dont need a goggle calendar as recommended by ezzah and gladys.
