the week has been a pretty trying time for me. lets just say that i've had an unfortunate run-in with a rude, obnoxious, highly short-tempered doctor which somehow developed an allergy, known as anti-gabriel-ism. just my luck.
however, now that my feet are on the sweet sweet soils of singapore, i count myself lucky. lucky that i've such great parents, sister and friends. lucky that i missed out field camp, which was extremely bad due to the heavy downpours during the past few days. lucky that i've such great company in the army, ie the sergeants, sirs, clerk, storemen, etc.
ladies and gentlemen (if u're there at all!) pls treasure what you have. cherish the ability to walk, to jump, to run. cherish your food, family, accomodation. do not ever ever take things for granted.
i end this post with an optimistic wish - that everyone reading this (yeah im selfish, i hope for the best for those i know only hahaha) will lead fulfilling, happy lives.

eve+jasmine: rock on gals, work hard, earn big $$ and remember to leave some time for yourselves.
